City Dwellers

This year-long project (October 2022 - September 2023) presents my impression of how contemporary people relate to their urban environment. I visited seven capitals in various corners of Western Europe, each city having its own history, architecture, and culture. Rather than making portraits, I show actors in the urban context, shifting the focus to the relationship between both. The images are fully spontaneous: never did I address or direct someone; at most there was a fleeting eye contact.
